General Site Description:
Site History:
Contamination Information: DEQ inspector noted on 2/12/88 that leaking tank had been abandoned and filled with sand and approximately 50 cubic yards of contaminated soil had been deposited in thin layers near property north of store. A water sample was taken from nearby well on February 16, 1988. Analyzed for hydrocarbons, the sample contained none above the detection limit.
Manner and Time of Release: Leaking gasoline tank; time of release unknown.

Status of Investigative or Remedial Action: (1/8/95 SAN/SAS) Because contamination at this site resulted from a leaking UST, Site Assessment has referred the site to the WR Underground Tank Program. Per Byron Peterson (Tanks Program - Medford) the UST was decommissioned and sampling came back non-detect. Site remains open in Tanks Program (log #06-99-0049).
