In October 2012, the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) completed the remedial actions required in the May, 2011 Record of Decision and presented in the September 2012 Remedial Action Plan. Remedial actions completed at the site included:
- Decommissioning groundwater monitoring wells MW-4 and MW-6.
- Excavating surface soil in the vicinity of the former fuel island and surface and subsurface soil to a depth of 10-12 feet in the NE Corner of the property.
- Pumping groundwater from the exavated areas and disposing of impacted groundwater in accordance with local and state law.
- Amending soil and groundwater in the excavated areas with ORC-Advanced oxygen amendment product.
- Restoring the site to grade by importing soil and backfill material that meets clean fill criteria.
Certificate of Completion and a proposed conditional No Further Action determination was made available for public notice and comment in September, 2013. No comments were received.
The Certificate of Completion was filed with Washington County on Octopber 21, 2013. The site will be issued a Conditional No Further Action determination in October, 2013.
