Water Quality Permit Program

Water Quality Permit Program - NPDES Stormwater Discharge Permits -
Public Notice of NPDES Industrial Stormwater General Permit 1200-A Applications

The 1200-A permit regulates mining sites and asphalt mix and concrete batch plants that discharge stormwater from a point source to surface waters or to conveyance systems that discharge to surface waters. The permit provides the public with an opportunity to review all renewal and new permit applications. During the 14 calendar day public review period, the public may review the permit application, which describes the mining site or batch plant, and the Stormwater Pollution Control Plan (SWPCP), which describes how stormwater runoff will be controlled on the site, at the appropriate DEQ office listed below.

Please provide comments in a separate letter or by e-mail using the addresses listed below. DEQ's stormwater technical staff will review your comments and will inform you of the action(s) taken in response to the comments.

Note:  Please call the DEQ office before traveling to that office to make sure the documents are available.

*** There are currently no 1200-A Permit applications in the database for public review. ***
