Columbia Biogas

DEQ has issued air and solid waste permits for Columbia Biogas, a proposed new anaerobic digestion facility that will turn commercial and industrial food waste into electricity and other usable byproducts including solid residues to be used as fertilizer and soil amendment. The proposed facility will be located in Portland at 6849 NE Columbia Blvd.
