DEQ Gresham Office staff will begin work at DEQ Portland Office Monday, June 25; the Gresham office will permanently close on Friday, June 22

This month, Department of Environmental Quality employees from the Gresham Office will move to the DEQ Northwest Region Portland Office.

All Gresham Office programs, including air quality permitting, asbestos, tanks, clean up and hazardous waste, will move to the Portland Office. Both offices are part of DEQ’s Northwest Region Division that serves the Portland Metro area, surrounding counties and the North Coast of Oregon including Tillamook, Clatsop and Columbia Counties.

The Gresham Office will be closed on Friday June 22 as 15 Gresham Office staff move to their new work location. The Gresham Office staff will begin work at the DEQ Portland Office on Monday, June 25 and can be contacted at 503-229-5263.

DEQ opened the Gresham office in 2004. The current move will assist the agency in reducing expenses.
