Baker County
The Baker County HHW facility is located at the Baker Recycling
Depot in Baker City and is open the first Wednesday of each month
from 10 am to Noon by appointment only. Call Baker Sanitary Service
at 541-523-2626 for an appointment for more information.
Benton County
Allied Waste of Corvallis holds free HHW collection events four times a
year. Call Allied Waste of Corvallis at 541-754-0444 for more information.
Clatsop County
Clatsop County hosts annual HHW events. Contact Clatsop County
at 503-325-8500 for more information.
Columbia County
The
Columbia County HHW collection facility in St Helens is open
periodically throughout the year. Contact Columbia County at 503-397-1501
x7207 for more information.
Deschutes County
Deschutes County's HHW collection facility in Bend is open the second and fourth Friday
and Saturday each month; 9 am to 3 pm. Conditionally exempt
generators must call Deschutes County for
appointments, 541-317-3163, for the second and fourth Thursday each
month.
Gilliam County
Chemical Waste Management's hazardous waste facility is open Monday thru Friday,
8 am to 4 pm for acceptance of HHW. They also hold an annual event in Condon. Call Chem Waste Management at 541-454-2643 for more information.
Hood River/ Sherman/ Wasco Counties
Hood River, Sherman and Wasco County (Tri-County Hazardous Waste and
Recycling Program) HHW collection facilities in the cities of Hood
River and The Dalles are open once a quarter (Hood River on the third
full Friday, The Dalles on the third full Saturday), 9 am to 2
pm. Satellite collection
events for households, CEGs, and agricultural pesticide generators
will also be held periodically. Call the Wasco/Sherman Public Health Department
at 541-506-2636 to schedule an appointment.
Jackson/ Josephine Counties
Jackson and Josephine Counties hold annual HHW collection events each
Spring and Fall. For more

Lane County
Lane County's HHW collection facility located at the Glenwood Central Receiving Station in
Eugene is open every Thursday, and two Saturdays a month; with
expanded Summer hours. Collection events are
also held periodically in other locations. For more information
about the facility and events, including hours of operation, limitations,
and appointments, call Lane County Waste Management Division at
541-682-4120.
Linn County
Allied Waste of Albany-Lebanon holds an annual collection event in
October. Call Allied Waste of Albany-Lebanon at 541-928-2551 for more
information.
Marion County
Marion County's HHW collection facility at the Salem/Keizer transfer station is
open every Thursday, and the first and third Saturday from 8 am
to 3:30 pm. Collection events are also held periodically in
Woodburn, Silverton and Stayton. Small businesses call 1-800-444-4244 for an
appointment and fees.
Metro (Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties)
Metro's two permanent HHW collection
facilities are open Monday thru Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm.
Collection events are also held in neighborhoods from March thru
November. For information about facility locations, call Metro

Morrow County
Morrow County generally holds an annual event in Boardman. Call Sandi
Putnam at 541-989-9500 for more information.
Polk County
Polk County residents can take household hazardous waste to
the Marion County HHW collection facility at the Salem/Keizer
transfer station, which is open every Thursday, and the first
and third Saturday from 8 am to 3:30 pm. Collection events are
also held periodically in Dallas and the Monmouth/Independence

Tillamook County
The
Tillamook County HHW facility is located at the Tillamook County
Transfer Station south of Tillamook. It is open the first Saturday of
most
months, 9 am to 1 pm.

Union County
The Union County HHW facility is located at the Waste Pro Solid
Waste Transfer Station in La Grande and is open every other Tuesday
from 8 am to Noon by appointment only. Call Waste Pro (City Garbage

Wallowa County
The Wallowa County HHW facility is located at the Wallowa County
Public Works Department in Enterprise and is open the second and
fourth Saturday of each month from 10 am to Noon by appointment

Yamhill County
Yamhill County holds a HHW collection event in McMinnville in the Fall, and
in Newberg in the Spring. Contact Yamhill County at 503-434-7445.
