Baker/ Union/ Wallowa Counties
A facility in La Grande is scheduled to open in 2010 for
residents of Baker, Union and Wallowa Counties. Call City Garbage at

Benton County
Allied Waste of Corvallis (formerly
Corvallis Disposal) holds free HHW collection events four times a
year. Call Allied Waste of Corvallis at 541-754-0444 for more information.
Columbia County
Columbia County facility in St Helens is open the last Saturday of every
month, 8:00 am to Noon. Contact Columbia County at 503-397-7263 for more information.
Deschutes County
Deschutes County's HHW facility in Bend is open every Saturday and
the second and fourth Friday; 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Households and CEGs must call Deschutes County for
appointments, 541-682-3111.
Gilliam County
Chemical Waste Management's facility is open Monday thru Friday,
7:00 am to 3:30 pm; and hold an annual event in Condon. Call Chem Waste Management at 541-454-2643 for more information.
Hood River/ Sherman/ Wasco Counties
Hood River, Sherman and Wasco County (Tri-County Hazardous Waste and
Recycling Program) facilities in the cities of Hood
River and The Dalles are open once a month. Satellite collection
events for households, CEGs, and agricultural pesticide generators
will also be periodically held. Call the Wasco/Sherman Public Health Department
at 541-506-2603 to schedule an appointment.
Jackson/ Josephine Counties
Jackson and Josephine Counties hold an annual collection event each
Spring. For more

Lane County
Lane County's Glenwood Central Receiving Station in
Eugene is open every Thursday, and two Saturdays a month; with
expanded Summer hours. Collection events are
also held periodically in other locations. For more information
about the facility, including hours of operation and limitations,

Linn County
Allied Waste of Albany-Lebanon (formerly
Albany-Lebanon Sanitation) holds an annual collection event in
October. Call Allied Waste of Albany-Lebanon at 541-928-2551 for more
information.
Marion County
Marion County's facility at the Salem/Keizer transfer station is
open every Thursday, and the first and third Saturday from 8:00 am
to 3:30 pm. Collection events are also held periodically in
Woodburn, Silverton and Stayton. Call 1-800-444-4244 for an
appointment.
Metro (Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties)
Metro's two permanent household hazardous waste collection
facilities are open Monday thru Saturday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Collection events are also held in neighborhoods from March thru
November. For information about facility locations, call Metro

Morrow County
Morrow County holds an annual event in Boardman. Call Sandi
Putnam at 541-989-9500 for more information.
Polk County
Polk County residents can take hazardous waste to the Marion County
collection facility at the Salem/Keizer transfer station, which is
open every Thursday, and the first and third Saturday from 8:00 am
to 3:30 pm. Collection events are also held periodically in Dallas
and the Monmouth/Independence area. Call 1-800-444-4244 for an
appointment.
Tillamook County
Tillamook County plans to open a facility in 2010.

Yamhill County
Yamhill County holds a collection event in McMinnville in the Fall, and
in Newberg in the Spring. Contact Yamhill County at 503-434-7445.
