Disposal Ban Outreach Materials

DEQ's Oregon E-Cycles program developed the following materials to use in promotion and outreach for Oregon's disposal facilities.

• Flyer PDF
  Small flyer with information about Oregon E-Cycles including Web site and phone number on one side and the landfill ban on the other side; prints four to a page.
• Postcard PDF
  4.25 inches by 5.5 inches, this postcard is double-sided with information about Oregon E-Cycles including Web site and phone number on one side and information about the landfill ban on the other side; prints two per page.
• Poster PDF
  Versatile poster that lends itself to multiple applications; directs public to Oregon E-Cycles Web site.

Language for Other Materials or Bill Inserts

In addition to using the outreach materials provided by DEQ, disposal facilities, haulers and others may want to educate their customers about the disposal ban by including language printed directly on a bill or as a stand-alone insert in a mailing. Below is suggested language to include in these materials.

  NOTICE OF DISPOSAL BAN: AS OF JAN. 1, 2010 COMPUTERS, MONITORS AND TVs WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR DISPOSAL IN OREGON. FOR FREE RECYCLING LOCATIONS, VISIT WWW.OREGONECYCLES.ORG OR CALL 1.888.5.ECYCLE (1.888.532.9253).
