Current Documents and Supporting Information

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency finalized the Removal Report which documents excavation, sloping, and revegetation work they completed in August of 2007. The report presents recommendations for additional removal of highly contaminated soil being eroded by Furnace Creek. DEQ conducted a surface water assessment in April 2007, and in June of 2008 to determine the relative mercury contribution from the Mine related to the natural contribution from the surrounding watershed.
