Portland Harbor

Community Advisory Group (CAG)

A group of interested citizens and organizations formed a Community Advisory Group (CAG) for the Portland Harbor site. CAGs are often formed in communities that have Superfund sites; there are over 60 CAGs throughout the country. A CAG is a forum for the community to air issues and concerns, and provide information to agencies running the investigation and cleanup. The Portland Harbor CAG has identified its mission, and its members represent various community sectors, including neighborhood associations, environmental justice and human health issues, environmental organizations, and recreational users of the river community.

The Portland Harbor CAG meets every second Wednesday from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Water Pollution Control Laboratory, 6543 N Burlington Avenue, Portland, OR 97203.
