responsibilities, accountability, and implementation to ensure the
quality of products and services generated.
A Strategy for Monitoring Oregon's Waters
This document, completed in 2005, provides a complete description of
DEQ’s water monitoring activities throughout the state. Its purpose
is to describe DEQ’s monitoring objectives and sampling design, as
well as explain the parameters sampled for different monitoring
programs. Finally, it provides a summary of current funding and
monitoring priorities for the agency. The document is intended to
function as a strategic planning document to guide future monitoring
work by DEQ.
