The Deschutes Basin is located in north-central Oregon, and encompasses all or portions of eleven counties. Major land uses in the basin include forest (65%), rangeland (25%), and agricultural-urban-industrial (10%) - North Coast Basin Groundwater
The North Coast Basin occupies about 2,500 square miles in the northwest corner of Oregon. The North Coast Basin is one of the 18 major river drainage basins in the state - Willamette Basin Groundwater
The Willamette Basin is a 12,000 square mile area in northwestern Oregon. The Willamette and Sandy Rivers drain the basin. - Klamath Basin Groundwater
The Klamath Basin is located in south-central Oregon, and encompasses most of Klamath County, and portions of Jackson and Lake counties. The major land use in the Klamath Basin is Forest (75%). Agricultural land and Range land each comprise about ten percent of the basin’s area. The remaining land use categories (water/wetland, urban, and mountainous terrain) make up about five percent of the basin’s total area.
