Greenhouse Gas Reporting Protocols for Wastewater Treatment Facilities

Current News

In August 2012, DEQ expanded the greenhouse gas reporting protocols for air quality permit holders to include municipal wastewater treatment facilities holding an air quality permit. DEQ is continuing to temporarily defer greenhouse gas reporting from any municipal wastewater treatment facility that does not hold an air quality permit.

Facilities performing industrial wastewater treatment and which hold an air quality permit are required to report greenhouse gas emissions according to the protocols for air quality permit holders.
