Greenhouse Gas Reporting Protocols for Air Quality Permit Holders

Certain facilities that hold an Air Contaminant Discharge Permit (ACDP) or Title V operating permit with Oregon are required to report greenhouse gas emissions to DEQ pursuant to OAR Chapter 340 Division 215. The reporting protocols below describe the types of facilities required to report, reporting deadlines and the methodologies and processes each facility must use to calculate and report its greenhouse gas emissions. In April 2012, DEQ published changes to the reporting protocols. The changes harmonize emissions categories reported to Oregon’s program with categories reported to EPA's federal reporting program. The changes also extend Oregon’s supporting documentation provisions designed to protect sensitive business information.
