Senate Bill 766

Oregon Industrial Development – Senate Bill 766

To support advancement of critical job creation on industrial lands statewide, the Legislature passed Senate Bill 766 in the 2011 session to create an environment where agencies work together to make permit decisions within 120 days. See Business Oregon for more information on this bill.

The streamlined permitting process established by Senate Bill 766 applies only to discretionary state and local permit. This may include certain types of Air Contaminant Discharge Permits and Water Pollution Control Facility permits for land application of wastewater and wastewater lagoons. Construction stormwater permits and other NPDES permits are federally-delegated permits and therefore are not part of the Senate Bill 766 process.
